Loki is the god of those who don’t fit in, outcasts who are different, who try to fit in their very hardest, and just can’t manage it in the end. Let me tell you who Loki loves: that boy with long hair who got beat up at school and called a faggot, the nerd who’s brilliant but shunned and has to sit alone to eat his lunch because no one will let him sit with them, that girl who got pregnant at the age of 15 and was thrown out on the street by her parents, the queer kid who hid their sexuality and pretended to be straight until it got found out… and was bullied to the point of suicide, the transsexual who had to become a hooker to pay for surgery because she was disowned by her parents and couldn’t get a job as a “crossdressed freak”, the 12 year old Arab kid who keeps getting called a terrorist and told that they’re evil, the goth who just wants to be left in peace to do their own thing without hurting anyone, the couple who gets burning crosses on their lawns because they’re of different skin colors, the lone Wiccan who lost her job because her boss thought she was a devil worshipper, the baby who is born intersexed and gets one set of genitals chopped off at birth so they’ll be normal… so they won’t be a monster…

These are the ones that Loki loves and cares for. We’re not evil or crazy or chaotic or destructive. We’re just different, and we want to be loved, just like everyone else.
